Building permits approved for 210 apartments and new office building in Arenastaden

Solna Municipality has approved building permits for two new blocks in Arenastaden, marking another step in the district's ongoing development. The projects include a residential building with 210 apartments and a new office building along Dalvägen. The residential building will have 15 floors, offering apartments of various sizes. Commercial premises are also planned on the ground floor. The new office building will rise to a maximum of 12 floors and include space for restaurants, a café and retail businesses. The design also incorporates green roof areas and stormwater management solutions. According to the municipality's project documentation, the first apartments could be ready for occupancy around the end of 2028 or beginning of 2029. The office building is expected to be completed no earlier than the second half of 2029. Although building permits have been granted, separate commencement approvals are required before construction can begin. The projects form part of Arenastaden's continued development, introducing additional housing, workplaces and commercial activities to support a more diverse urban environment.
